For the week ending May 12, U.S. weekly corn exports were just under 1.4 MMT (55.1 million bushels), a one-month low and down 38 percent YOY. Cumulative exports for the 2021/22 season were nearly 43.0 MMT (1.693 billion bushels), down 9 percent YOY.

Net weekly corn export sales were 435,310 MT (17.1 million bushels), up almost 57 percent YOY. Outstanding sales were 16.0 MMT (630.0 million bushels), down about 6 percent week on week.

Total commitments reached just under 59.0 MMT (2.323 billion bushels), 88 percent of USDA’s 2021/22 season forecast.
