For the week ending Jul. 7, U.S. weekly corn exports were 916,123 MT (36.1 million bushels), an eight-month low and down 14 percent YOY. Cumulative 2021/22 exports reached 53.4 MMT (2.102 billion bushels), down 11 percent YOY.
Weekly net export sales were 59,027 MT (2.32 million bushels), the second lowest volume of the season. Top buyers for the week included Japan (124,000 MT), Mexico (57,000 MT), and Morocco (30,200 MT).
Total commitments reached 60.42 MMT (2.379 billion bushels), about 90.2 percent of USDA’s 2021/22 season forecast.
