For the week ending Jun. 23, U.S. weekly net export corn sales were at a season-to-date low of 88,000 MT (3.5 million bushels), bringing outstanding sales to about 9.0 MMT (354.3 million bushels). Top buyers for the week included Japan (191,900 MT), South Korea (68,600 MT), and Saudi Arabia (30,000 MT).
Weekly corn exports were just under 1.3 MMT (51.2 million bushels), up 9 percent week on week and up 10 percent YOY. Cumulative 2021/22 exports reached about 51.5 MMT (2.027 billion bushels), down 10 percent YOY.
Total commitments reached 60.4 MMT (2.378 billion bushels), 90.2 percent of USDA’s 2021/22 season forecast.
