Despite USDA reducing corn condition Monday from 72 percent of the crop in good to excellent to 71 percent, analysts are still expecting USDA to adjust the yield upward. According to Bloomberg, the average of analyst expectations is 176.3 bushels per acre (bpa) vs. the 174.0 bpa forecast in July. Expectations range as high as 180.2, with FCStone projecting 178.1 bpa.
