NOPA processors crushed 167.73 million bushels of soybeans during July, the second largest monthly crush ever. This number was above analyst expectations of 161.75, as well as 5 percent above June crush and 16 percent above July 2017.
Low soybean future prices, 11 percent lower than a year ago, and high meal demand have kept margins elevated. High crush rate is expected to continue.
