Domestic sugar prices fell last week, with estandar decreasing over 25 pesos while refined lost almost 3 pesos. Harvest pressure and news of imports from the U.S. finally seem to be kicking in. Prices, however, remain higher than last year when estandar was 696.02 pesos per 50-kg bag and refined was 793.57 pesos.
