Net soybean export sales for the week of June 7 were a very seasonally strong 519,560 MT (19.1 million bushels). Outstanding sales were 8.9 MMT, up 26 percent from last season to date. Despite strong sales, USDA did not adjust its estimate for 2017/18 soybean exports, as actual shipments were still 8 percent behind last year’s pace as of a week ago. Shipments have remained brisk, however, with 597,400 MT leaving the U.S. last week, and cumulative exports totaling 47.2 MMT (1.73 billion bushels).
