Ivory Coast arrivals reach 2.12 MMT: Arrivals through Jul. 31 reached 2.12 MMT, up 9.6 percent YOY, per CCC data. Ivorian grind totaled 455,131 MT, up 8.0 percent YOY, per GEPEX data reported by Reuters.

Ghana production down from forecast: As previously reported based on lower yields and hectarage and pest losses, cocoa production through July was officially pegged at 794,841 MT, about 11.7 percent from the earlier forecast of 900,000 MT for all of 2018/19.

Cameroon arrivals, exports up YOY: Per ONCC data, arrivals at the major port of Douala reached 264,254 MT, up 4.2 percent YOY as of mid-July. Cameroonian grind was 58,552 as of last report up 9.6 percent YOY. Through the first week of August, Cameroon exports reached 214,825 MT, up 25.6 percent YOY, per Reuters.
