Arrivals of cocoa beans at Ivory Coast ports have been strong compared to past midcrop figures. As a result, the trade expects that midcrop arrivals could reach 600,000 MT of beans.

Estimates suggest that cumulative arrivals are up some 12 to 14 percent from the same period last year. Citing estimates by traders and exporters, Reuters estimated arrivals as of June 23 at 2.076 MMT, up some 12 percent YOY.
