In the second week of August, reference pricing for domestic sugar is trending lower, with both estandar and refined down 0.4 percent from the previous week. Estandar pricing is down 1.3 percent from the four-week average, while refined is down just a tenth of a percent.

Year on year, estandar and refined pricing is down 10.1 percent and 1.9 percent, respectively.

In dollar terms, estandar pricing is down 0.3 percent YOY. Refined pricing, however, is up 9.9 percent YOY.
