November’s average reference pricing for estandar fell 1.9 percent from pricing in October, while refined pricing gained slightly, up 0.3 percent from the October average.

Year on year, estandar and refined references prices are up 21 percent and 23 percent, respectively.

Through the eighth week of the 2020/21 sugarcane crush campaign, harvest area is reported strong, up 125 percent YOY. Cane crush gained more modestly, up 97 percent YOY and even with the five-year average. At 63,096 MT, sugar production is up 106 percent YOY and up 10 percent from the five-year average.
