Net corn export sales for the week of May 31 were 838,600 MT (33.0 million bushels); four-week net sales were nearly double the volume sold a year ago, and outstanding sales of 16.3 MMT were up 38 percent year over year. Mexico and Vietnam were the top buyers. Weekly shipments were 1.4 MMT, down slightly from the week before but still well above the average weekly volume needed to hit USDA’s current target. Cumulative exports totaled 39.0 MMT (1.54 billion bushels). Given the strong pace of shipments, will USDA increase 2017/18 exports in next week’s S&D update?
