Soybean exports for the week of May 25 slowed slightly by 20 percent from the previous week, putting accumulated shipments at 48.1 MMT (1.8 billion bushels). Weekly net export sales, on the other hand, picked up to 123,396 MT. Outstanding sales were down to 2.8 MMT (104 million bushels).

The fourth week of May saw soybean export volumes to China down by 76.8 percent week over week, dropping China’s share of U.S. total soybean exports to 1.2 percent. Net export sales also dropped by 72 percent, to 7,018 MT, from the previous week.

On the other hand, weekly exports to Mexico picked up by 153.7 percent to 95,786 MT with outstanding sales at 552,209 MT. Weekly net exports sales to the country were increased at 32,307 MT.
